IT Risk&Advisory Junior Consultant

As part of Mazars Group, leading Auditing and Consulting firm delivering services to its clients worldwide, Mazars Italy has been growing very fast, offering every staff member unparalleled opportunities to develop his/her talents in a ‘start-up’ type environment. We are currently expanding our IT Risk&Advisory practice recruiting trainees to join our team based in Milan ready to undertake the challenge to implement and develop IT related projects for all our main national and international clients and with the drive to work in an entrepreneurial environment.
Compliance (such as EU General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 “GDPR”), Processes Digitalization (not only ERP implementation but also Robotization), IT Audit of new technologies and Cyber Security are only some of the big challenges we are facing for our clients.

What will you do?
As an IT Risk&Advisory trainee, you will work next to the team helping our clients solve their complex business issues on various and innovative projects. You will deliver professional services of the highest standards to all the local and international clients among different industries. In particular, you will:
• Work on Security/IT Audit/IT Governance/IT Compliance and IT Solution projects;
• Build strong working relationships with clients, ensuring any problems or requests are dealt with promptly;
• Support the work of senior consultants and learn from them.
You will improve your skills in an international and young environment, that manages and promotes global mobility programs in all the Mazars Countries, training and workshop abroad, an internal e-learning platform for technical and soft skills courses. You will be supported by Senior staff with on-the-job training in a company that gives importance to a flexible approach focused on goals and to your work-life balance with a structured smartworking policy.
What are we looking for?
The following requirements are essential for you to be the right candidate:
• Master Degree in Security, Engineering, IT or similar with good grades;
• Previous experience in an IT consultancy firm is a plus;
• Fluency in English;

Transaction services consultant

Our Financial Advisory Services practice is rapidly growing and has an opening in the Milan office for a Transaction Services Consultant. In this position you will play a key role within the firm and with the client to produce a deliverable exceeding their expectations and consistent with Mazars’ global standards.

You will improve your skills in an international and young environment, that manages and promotes MOVE programs in all the Mazars Countries, training and workshop abroad, an internal e-learning platform for technical and soft skills courses. You will be supported with on the job training in a company that concretely gives importance to a flexible approach focused on goals and to your work-life balance with a structured smartworking policy.

What will you do?

With a dedicated focus on Financial Due Diligence to advise buyer/seller on negotiations you will:

  • Prepare and deliver high standard quality Financial Due Diligence reports (English and Italian)
  • Manage international and local clients and targets
  • Interact with tax, legal and labour Due Diligence team members in order to have a 360° view on the projects, key matters and risks
  • Assist in identifying risks and issues related to integration planning, timelines, and functional areas
  • Manage the relationship and information flow between Mazars and the various parties to a transaction (client, target, investment banker, attorney) as well as with other Mazars affiliates during cross-border transactions.
  • Support junior staff with Partners’ guidelines
  • Write articles on specialized newspapers

Flexibility is an important asset for us, so the candidate will be involved in Corporate Finance projects as well in order to extend his skills and knowledge.

What are we looking for?

  • At least 2 years of experience in Transaction Services
  • Good team player and time management effective
  • Italian native (or fluent) and proficiency in spoken and written business English
  • Availability to travel for work in Italy and abroad
  • Self-starter with good level of initiative, open minded
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint proficiency

About you

Innovation is one of the group’s top priorities. Mazars Italia’s Innovation Lab, based in Milan, is looking for a Developer over 2-year professional experience who can create successful application solutions, from the design to development of minimum viable products. You will be part of the innovation project team covering and work closely with the IT Department who generally carries out production, deployment and monitoring.

Responsabilities:

  • Implement the innovation strategy within Mazars Italia
  • Participate in the design with the business lines and provide your technical suggestions
  • Develop mobile and web apps as per the requests of our business lines
  • Perform unit, integration and validation tests to ensure the quality of deliverables and the proper functioning of the project
  • Collaborate with the internal tech community within Mazars

Required skills:

  • Python, VB, NET, C #, API, Web/Mobile app
  • SAP ABAP programming is appreciated
  • Be able to understand the need expressed by auditors or accountants and interact with the business lines involved throughout a project
  • Be able to translate technical concepts into simple English and to improve use cases of the softwares developed by a third party
  • Team spirit
  • Autonomous attitude

Profile:

  • Degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science preferably, but knowledge acquired in the field will be appreciated as well
  • Innovative, curious, autonomous and eager to learn
  • At least 2-year of professional programming experience, either in professional environment or with proven personal projects
  • Excellent command of English
