DevOps Engineer - Wealth and Asset Management

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 2-4 years of experience within companies operating in DevOps and Cloud.
  • Bachelor’s degree with excellent grades in scientific disciplines (computer science, computer engineering, mathematics, physics)
  • Experience in automating building processes with Git, Maven, Gradle, Npm, Docker and building Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery pipelines with Jenkins and Github Actions.
  • Knowledge of AWS services and technologies, particularly ECS, Lambda, S3, Cognito, EKS, CloudFormation, AWS CLI
  • Excellent command of Linux operating systems and scripting languages, particularly Bash, Groovy, and Python.
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure Provisioning tools (e.g., Terraform) and Configuration Management (e.g., Ansible).
  • Knowledge of tools for static code analysis (e.g., SonarQube) and use of code review methodologies.
  • Good knowledge of the English language.
  • Significant experience in migrating applications to the Cloud infrastructure will be considered a plus.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Candidates will be placed in technical consulting teams in the banking industry (domestic and international) primarily involved in architectural, security, and systems aspects within software delivery projects geared toward distributed computing of both on-premises and on-cloud big data.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Ideal candidates are recent graduates in computer engineering, computer science, physics, mathematics, or if graduates with experience in Information Technology.

TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED:

The following skills are required:

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems (both Client and Server)

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Developing Enterprise and SOA software solutions based on .Net framework within specialist teams
  • Participation in the activities of analysis sharing, problem solving, technical analysis, implementation, testing and documentation within the development projects assigned to the team
  • Use of a wide range of technologies and paradigms (C# in Visual Studio, .Net, .Net Core, MVVM and MVC, Angular 8, HTML 5, CSS, XML, JSON, database management/modelling (T-SQL))
  • Application of Lean and Agile practices, in particular: application development following the Test Driven Development (TDD) model with the support of the most advanced automation techniques of Continuous Integration & Continuous Delivery
  • Supporting the quality expectations of the solutions produced through the use of QA tools, including Static Code Analysis and the use of automatic systems for Regression Tests
