CONSTRUCTION ENGINEER - JUNIOR
About the Job
It will be a work to be done in team, coordinated by senior resources and interfacing mates from many other Departments and, often, from other Operating Centers.
Initially, during the training phase, the candidate will be based in Rome Home Office, but short missions for meeting with Project stakeholders (client, construction companies, partners, local authorities) may be necessary.
Training shall be focused in candidate’s progressive self-sufficiency and readiness to start a career on site within construction management.

MACHINERY ENGINEER
About the Job
You will work inside the Machinery Section that is in charge of the management of machinery proposals, procurement and detail engineering development. First, you will manage the requisition of simple equipment and thereafter you will be progressively assigned higher value and complexity equipment.
Key interactions of the Machinery Engineer are internally with Project teams, Procurement, Construction and others engineering disciplines; externally with Clients, Vendors, Suppliers.
The role and your responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- ensure timely and qualitative preparation of project technical specifications in coordination with other disciplines;
- preparation of material requisition for inquiry;
- bid receipt and technical analysis of machinery proposed;
- preparation of material requisition for purchase;
- ensure proper communication with Vendors and technical follow up of the orders;
- adhere to the committed man / hours and budget;
- ensure timely reporting on engineering / requisitioning activities to the Lead Discipline Engineer;
- meet quality and HSE objectives of the project;

About the Job
You will work inside the Package Units Section. Packages are multidisciplinary units that are defined by their functionality. Every component included in the Package (e.g. pump, compressor, valve, vessel, electric motor, Instrument, control system, etc) is important for the functioning of the unit as a whole system.
Package Section is in charge of the management of Package Units on Proposals, FEED and EPC Projects.
Key interactions of the Package Engineer are internally with Project teams, Procurement dept., Construction dept. and others engineering disciplines; externally with Clients, Vendors, Suppliers.
The role and your responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- ensure timely and qualitative preparation of project technical specifications in coordination with other disciplines;
- preparation of material requisition for inquiry;
- technical analysis of received bids;
- preparation of material requisition for purchase;
- managing of detailed engineering phase and technical follow up of the orders ensuring proper communication with vendors

You will work inside the Piping Material Management Section that is in charge of the management of Piping Materials definition, Procurement and quantity follow up.
You will start working into a Project as Piping Material Engineer with the coordination of Materials Management Discipline Coordinator.
Prospective for the candidate is to grow up encompassing all Piping Material Management issues.
Key interactions of the Piping Material Engineer within Company structure are:
- Project teams
- Technical disciplines: Process, Civil Engineering, Piping Designers, Instrumentation specialists, IT
- Estimating and Cost Control Departments

PROJECT PLANNER JUNIOR
About the Job
Project Planner prepares and update a Critical Path Method Schedule for an Engineering, Procurement and Construction project, working in strict collaboration with Project Management Group and Discipline Coordinators.
It is request availability to travel.
The Planner reports Functionally to Project Planning Manager.
Internally interfaces are with Project Management Group and with the discipline specialists; Externally interfaces are with Clients representative and subcontractors;
The role and responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Participate to the definition of the Work Break-down Structure with the Project Team and Discipline Coordinators;
- Identify the critical and sub critical paths of the project schedule and prepares and distributes lists of related activities and events to be carefully monitored;
- Prepare the Project Milestone Status having identified the scheduled, forecast and actual dates of execution of the listed events;
- Prepare and revise the Material Schedule, the Progress Table and Progress Curves to be included in Monthly Project Progress Report;
- Co-ordinate and assist the Discipline Coordinators in the utilization of the procedures for Detailed Scheduling; inputs in the procedures all the general data under project planning responsibility; define and communicate to all people involved the general rules to be applied for customizing the Catalogue of Deliverables for the project;
- Assist the Discipline Coordinators in identifying and scheduling in detail the operations required for project execution and completion;
- Request, collect and analyze, with the co-operation of the Project Team, the detailed schedule documents produced by the Discipline Coordinators for scheduling and progress control; verify with the assistance of the Project team that the detailed schedules are congruous with the Overall Project Schedules;
- Produce all the documents required for recording physical progress and more specifically to be incorporated in the Monthly Project Progress Report;
- Request and analyze the data required for quantifying the activities to be scheduled;
- Update the project status, in particular for critical operations, communicating immediately to the Project Manager any possible cause of delay; take part in assessing corrective action;
- Analyze, in the case of deviations or alternatives, the impact on the project schedule, in particular for Changes requested, by Client; when necessary, take part in meetings with the Client relevant to schedule matters;
- Support the Project Manager with all the necessary planning/reporting documents in substantially to the Client or to Subcontractors any schedule impacts connected;
- Determine critical or delayed activities and produce the relevant lists for Project Team Management (when needed).

Delivery of technically & qualitatively high level process engineering design within proposals, studies, projects execution & operations, as part of a study &/or project team, in accordance with design & engineering standards & procedures, schedules and budget, with a continuous concern for quality standards, targets and customer satisfaction.
Main Accountabilities:

SUBCONTRACTING AND ESTIMATING ENGINEER
About the Job
Preparation of the cost estimate for construction subcontracting works, either during proposal or project phases, according to the specific proposal/project subcontracting strategy.
Follow up until Subcontracts award and management of said Subcontracts during the construction phase, at Site.
The role and tasks may include also the following activities:
- Analyzes tender requirements;
- Collects bill of quantities;
- Performs and deliver the benchmarking of construction costs on time to Proposals;
- Register properly benchmarking of construction costs information in the dedicated database;
- Participates in the proposal or subcontract development process;
- Ensures sourcing and qualification of bidders;
- Performs preparation, assembly and issuance of call for bid, addendums, and tender clarifications;
- Performs preparation of direct standard man-hours estimate;
- Performs bid tabulation;
- Performs preparation the cost estimate relevant to the construction activities;
- Implements the subcontracting management strategy of the project;
- Performs negotiation, formation and award of formal subcontracts;
- Prepares financial statement format of each subcontract;
- For Site Subcontracting Management, he is responsible for:
- Ensures field administration of subcontracts (including change order and back-charges management) as per procedures and subcontract closeout;
- Monitors Subcontractor’s actual progress curves for invoicing purpose;
- Prepares subcontracting activity reports, default notice and subcontract closeout;
- Prepares feedback and statistic (cost, man hours, productivity, quantities, reworks rates, …) reports/records as per corporate guidelines;
- Ensures proper handling of subcontracts, support documentation and related files;
